(Updated September 20, 2011)
This year I have shifted to teaching fifth grade. Feel free to explore my Mr. Tabor's Class Links
section for links to appropriate skills-focused games for my students. I will be adding to this throughout the year,
mostly for my students benefit. It is so much easier for them to go to my website and click links than to try and type
the long links themselves. Enjoy!

My name is Dan Tabor. I am a sixth grade teacher at Blanco Elementary, a school within the Bloomfield
School District in New Mexico. I am a former student of the University of New Mexico. This site is a
collection of assignments and resources gathered while I was a student. Some pages are more extensive than others based
on different requirements.
I will likely add to the site a bit as time goes by, but for now it remains largely unchanged.
Feel free to explore.

I worked for the Farmington Municipal School District in Farmington, New Mexico for the past 3 years
as an In-School Suspension Coordinator at Tibbetts Middle School while I attended UNM.
In the Spring of 2008, I had the opportunity to perform as a long term substitute teacher in 8th
grade Reading and English for one semester. In the fall of 2008, I was a long term 8th grade Pre-Algebra substitute.
What an opportunity afforded to me as I near the completion of my degree.
